Extracted by steam distillation from the bark (Ceylon) or from the leaves (Cassia, China) of Cinnamomum verum J.Presl (cinnamon of Ceylon, true cinnamon) and Cinnamomum cassia (L.) J.Presl (cassia, cinnamon Chinese), trees of the Lauracee originari rispettivaly of the Sri Lanka and of the China southern. THE due oils have profili chimic different: the bark of Ceylon contains aldeide cinnamic (60-80%) with eugenol (4-10%), mentre the cassia Chinese and dominated from aldeide cinnamic (80-95%) with less eugenol. L'aldeide cinnamic has powerful activity antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral with broad-spectrum activity — active on MRSA, Candida albicans and influenza viruses — with action insulino-mimetic documented which improves the sensibilita insulinic. L'oil of cinnamon and among the more caustic: max 0.1% topical for dermocausticita of the fenilpropanoidi. In aromatherapy and used as antibacterial and antifungal powerful, immune-stimulating, tonic circolatorio riscaldant, aphrodisiac and digestive. Contraindicated during pregnancy and in children. Heart note warm, spicy, sweet-piccant and strongly cinnamon.

2 drops Cinnamon bark + 3 drops Ginger + 2 drops Pepper black in 30 ml of almond oil. Massage with movements vigorous on feet freddi and areas with circulation insufficient.
