Mint bergamot — Nardea

Plant description

Extracted by steam distillation from the leaves and from the flowers of Mentha × peppermint var. citrata (Ehrh.) Briq. (mint bergamot, mint eau de cologne, mint citrata), cultivar or varietà of the peppermint of the Lamiaceae, with a phytochemical profile radically different compared to the peppermint standard (menthol) and to the spearmint (carvone). The phytochemical profile is dominated by linalool (30-50%) and linalyl-acetate (30-45%) — the stessi components of the lavender officinal — with pochissimo menthol. This composition provides to the mint bergamot a aroma sorprendentely floral and fruity, with pochissima freschezza mentholated, which reminiscent of the bergamot agrumario but with a note green-herbaceous of fondo. In aromatherapy it is used as anxiolytic sweet (linalool), antidepressant floral and as fragrance insolito which smentisce the aspettative on the genus Mentha. is particularly apprezzata in perfumery natural as heart note fresh-floral without the pesantezza of the menthol. Recommended for children and people intollerant to the menthol. Top-to-heart note floral, fruity and sorprendentely sweet.

3 drops of Mint bergamot + 3 drops of Bergamot + 2 drops of Lavender in the diffuser. Insolita combination of freschezza mentholated and note floreal-agrumate, elegant and relaxing.

Fragrance summer

4 drops of Mint bergamot + 3 drops of Lemon + 2 drops of Geranium in the diffuser. Blend light and fresh for the giornate estive, promotes the buonumore and the concentration mental.

Contraindications

Do not use undiluted on the skin. Avoid in children under the 6 years. Not confondere with the peppermint (profile very different). In pregnancy with caution.
