Extracted by steam distillation from the flowering tops of Sage rosmarinus Spenn. (sin. Rosmarinus officinalis L.) chemotype verbenone — the chemotype more rare and high-quality of the rosemary, caratterizzato from to alta concentration of verbenone (15-40%), chetone biciclic with spiccate properties rigeneratric epatic and mucoregolant. The CT verbenone is typical of some popolations specific of the Corsica and of the Sardinia northern, where the conditions pedoclimatic particular promote the biosintesi of the verbenone. The phytochemical profile is dominated by verbenone (15-40%), α-pinene (20-35%) and 1,8-cineole (8-18%), with camphor ridotta compared to the other CT. The verbenone is the component responsible of the peculiare action on the liver documented for this chemotype — tonic and regenerating hepatic, mucoregolatore of the respiratory tract (thins the phlegm) and stimulating of the rigeneration skin. In aromatherapy is considered the 'rosemary for the liver' for eccellenza: recommended in the cure depurative, in the epatite chronic, in the phlegm bronchial persistent and in the rinnovamento cellulare skin. Contraindicated during pregnancy and children small. Heart-to-top note fresh, canforata and slightly cetonic-verdenic.

2 drops of Rosemary ct. verbenone + 2 drops of Helichrysum + 3 drops of Lavender in 30 ml of rose oil canina. Apply the evening on the face.
2 drops of Rosemary ct. verbenone + 2 drops of Lemon + 2 drops of Mint peppermint in 20 ml of oil of oliva. Massage circolare on the liver (ipocondrio destro) in the morning.
