Extracted by steam distillation from the needles and from the twigs of Pinus koraiensis Siebold & Zucc. (pine coreano, Korean pine, cedar pine), large conifera of the Pinaceae native of the Corea, of the Manciuria, of the Japan and of the Siberia oriental, where forma forests miste with the latifoglie in the areas fredde-temperate of East Asia. THE seeds commestible (pignoli coreani) are among the more large and nutrient of the genus Pinus, widely raccolti and commerciati. The phytochemical profile of the oil from the needles is dominated from α-pinene (30-45%), β-pinene (15-25%) and δ-3-carene, with germacrene-D and β-caryophyllene as sesquiterpenes minor. In aromatherapy condivide the tonic properties and antisettic of the other species of Pinus: expectorant, decongestant of the airways, tonic of the nervous system and analgesic muscular. Has a fragrance particularly clean and fresh among the pini, with less note resinous pesante compared to the pine Scots. Used in the diffuser as purifying environmental and in massaggi post-allenamento. Top note fresh, resinous and boscous.

3 drops of Pine coreano + 2 drops of Cypress + 2 drops of Cedarwood giapponese + 1 drop of Sandalwood in the diffuser.
3 drops of Pine coreano + 2 drops of Eucalyptus + 2 drops of Ravintsara in hot water. Inhale for 10 minutes.
4 drops of Pine coreano + 3 drops of Rosemary + 2 drops of Lemon in 30 ml of almond oil.
