Extracted by steam distillation from the petals fresh of Rose moschata Herrm. (rose moschata, rose of the Musk) or, more frequentely, of Rose rubiginous L. (rose eglanteria), rose of the Rosacee rispettivaly originarie of the South Asia and of the Europe western. From not confondere with the oil fisso of rose canina (rosehip oil), obtained for pressofrigido from the seeds of the cinorrodi and used in cosmesi anti-aging. The phytochemical profile of the essential oil of rose moschata is dominated from citronellol (25-45%), geraniol (15-30%) and nerol, with to elevata concentration of idrocarburi to lunga catena (nonadecano and nonadecene) which provide the characteristic note cerosa-rosaceo-muschiata which distingue this rose dto the otto of rose damascena more floral. In aromatherapy it is used as antidepressant and tonic emotional for the traumi affettive and the perdite, afrodisiaca sweet, healing skin excellent and ormono-regolatrice in the disfuntions ginecologic (dismenorrea, premenstrual syndrome, menopause). The costo is sensibilly inferiore to the otto of rose damascena, rendendola accessible for the formulations quotidiane and the cure cosmetics. Heart note floral rosaceo-muschiata, morbida and slightly cerosa.

2 drops of Rose nutmeg + 2 drops of Helichrysum + 2 drops of Neroli + 1 drop of Sandalwood in 30 ml of rosehip oil.
2 drops of Rose nutmeg + 2 drops of Ylang Ylang + 2 drops of Geranium + 1 drop of Sandalwood in the diffuser.
3 drops of Rose nutmeg + 2 drops of Lavender + 2 drops of Cisto in 30 ml of oil of calendula. Apply to the scars twice a day.
